"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
Until recently I've never been to a small, cozy local bookstore, simply because there hasn't been one where I lived. I only had those big bookstores with books neatly staked on the shelves. No piles of books on the floor, not a single drop of cozy atmosphere. I thought this kind of bookstores only existed in books. How wrong I was! I moved to a new town and found it: this cozy little bookstore, where you immediately feel at home in the middle of all those books!
Do you know what I'm talking about? Do you buy your books locally? I'd love to buy all of my books in this local bookstore, but that simply isn't possible. Since I think this topic is really important – and because I want to know your opinion about it – I'd like to talk today about some pros and cons of local bookstores.
Hello, you all!
Today I'd like to look back on the month of January and talk to you about my favourite books, experiences I made and so on. It was a very busy month, but also a month with many new impressions, changes and good books and stories. So without further ado, let's get started!
I don't know about you, but my life is pretty hectic right now. Between university, studying and sports I barely have time for anything else. Even sleeping come sometimes a little bit too short when all those questions have to be solved and I just cannot seem to find the right solution. Nonetheless I've managed to read eight books this month. I know, not a HUGE number of books, but considering everything else still a lot. That's why I thought I'd share with you today my tips and tricks to read more during such busy and hectic times which we are all facing from now and then.
